Hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying what you can of your days. Bailey and I have been tussling with the seasonal changes – to be honest – me more than her! I have already got my heated blanket out.
When COVID-19 struck, followed by lockdown, I was writing short stories for the book ‘Smile’, but I also wrote a whole slew of stories (horror and terror) which I didn’t think I would do anything with – until now! I have decided to complete the stories, edit them and release them in time (fingers crossed) for Halloween 2025! Yes!
Bailey and I are pleased with our cover although I have had sleepless nights out of fear of what I have written and will be looking forward to getting back to writing my Emerson Chopra mysteries.
Writing horror took lots of twists and turns, I played with prose, rhythm and structure, more so than with other fiction. I was also thinking about how fast I write. Some days, I churn out 10000 words! But usually its between 5000 and 7000. I am a touch typer and enjoy just running with stories regardless of what happens to them. My unpublished file is HUGE!
Please have a read of my book when it comes out. I will be promoting it through indie stores.
